VALLEY FARM VINEYARDS were established in 1987, expanded in 1992 and sold in 2014 to the current owners - Elaine Heeler and Vanessa Tucker who relocated to Suffolk to run the Vineyard after earlier careers in the public sector. They trained at Plumpton and Myerscough respectively and undertook a 'stickability' test by cycling south through Chile in December 2012- January 2013!This was as tough as it sounds but included some wonderful wine samples!
The Vineyards specialise in producing quality grapes for still white, sparkling white, still blush and sparkling blush. The Madeleine Angevine is the grape in the still wine whilst the Auxerrois, Pinot Gris, Pinot Menier and Pinot Noir most often go into the sparkling wine. An extra squeeze from the latter gives the blush finish to some vintages.
All the wines produced are single estate and can be bought at the 'cellar door' or delivered to your door.
