WATERCOLOUR WORKSHOP WEEKEND
22ND to 24TH JUNE 2007

The aim of the weekend is to have time to paint in the beautiful garden at Valley Farm, and be inspired by the buildings, flowers and garden features.

We meet for a light lunch on Friday followed by a chance to choose subjects for painting, and make a start during the afternoon.

Dinner each evening will be at a local pub.

Saturday provides more opportunities for painting, with a light lunch at Valley Farm. Those who fancy a break in the afternoon can use it for sightseeing and relaxing.

On Sunday we will be painting again, with a light lunch provided. Later on in the afternoon about 4pm we will be having a cup of tea and looking at our weekend masterpieces.

Accommodation is provided in the farmstead or in a separate building on the premises. The beautifully appointed bedrooms, some with en-suite or private bathrooms, television, radio, full drink-making facilities and electric blankets, have every luxury to make your stay a special treat to remember.

When not painting, or for non-painting partners, you can enjoy a tour of the vineyard, including wine tasting, challenge one another at croquet, boules, table-tennis or simply relax in the beautiful gardens.

There are numerous places of interest to visit locally including Southwold, Snape, Aldeburgh, Dunwich Heath, Minsmere and Framlingham Castle. Sporting activities such as riding, "Pay-as-you-Play" golf, tennis, swimming, sailing, lake and sea fishing may all be found within a 15 miles radius of the farm.

The cost will be £175 per person. Non-painting partner £120.

What is included: All tuition, high quality bed and breakfast, morning and afternoon drinks and light lunch. The cost of evening meals is not included.

For more information or to book a place on the course please contact Marie on 01255 675133.
