Our Story

It all started when…

Valley Farm Vineyard was established in 1987, expanded in 1992, and sold in 2014 to Elaine Heeler and Vanessa Tucker. In 2021, it was sold to the current owner, Adrian Cox, who is working alongside his son to extend the Vineyard’s reach.

Adrian’s family has lived in Suffolk for many generations, so it doesn’t get more Suffolk than the Cox’s! A builder for many years, Adrian decided it was time to turn to something new and went into training to build the vineyard into all it can be. He has big plans for the future and can’t wait to make the most out of this beautiful site. If you would like to know more about Adrian then check out his blog.

In 2015, the vineyard’s Madeleine Angevine wine achieved a prestigious UKVA (now WinesGB) gold medal, putting it in the top 10% of wines produced in England and Wales.  We are beginning to reap the rewards of years of hard work as we prune our well-structured vines, and nurture them through the seasons.
