Cabin-in-the-Vines

The Grape Escape

If you are looking for accommodation locally, this is now available on our vineyard. The Cabin-in-the-Vines is literally amongst the vines. It offers an ideal ‘getting away from it all’ venue for up to 3 people - and their faithful companion.

The Cabin features a number of state of the art sustainability attributes including sheep’s wool insulation, electricity provided by solar-powered energy backed by off-grid batteries, and a liquid gas boiler providing thermostatically-controlled heating all year round, hot water and cooking facilities. The Cabin is well-equipped and offers a touch of luxury with attention to detail, bringing you comfort in this idyllic spot. Accessible by bike, on foot and by car, it is a place to stop and savour.

To complement your stay in the Cabin, why not book a tour of the vineyard and a taste of our wines? Visit our Tours and Tasting page for more information.

Should you wish to leave the vineyard at any point during your stay, there are two pubs serving meals within walking distance. The nearest town, Halesworth, is a busy market town just 10 minutes away, with a supermarket, local fresh food shops and delicatessens, alfresco cafés, pubs, restaurants, art gallery, museum, Wednesday market, and The Cut Arts Centre amongst its many attractions. The train from London, changing at Ipswich, stops at Halesworth Station, and continues on, through the bustling market town of Beccles, to the seaside town of Lowestoft. The National Cycle Network Sustrans Route 1 is nearby and there are plenty of footpaths to explore right from the vineyard.

Further afield, but easily reachable, are Southwold (10 miles), Walberswick, Dunwich and Minsmere - and a trip to Norwich is a great day out too. Literally something for everyone.

Prices are from £120 a night (minimum of 2 nights) and a one-off payment of £20 per stay for a well behaved dog. For low season, Bank Holidays and longer visits please enquire for pricing.

To book dates, or make further enquiries, please email cabininthevines@gmail.com and we will check your desired dates against our calendar, take you through the booking process, and answer any further questions you may have in planning you holiday or short break with us.
