Valley Farm Vineyards produce award-winning, vintage, single estate, elegant still and sparkling wines.
Valley Farm Vineyards is an 8 acre site with newly renovated vintage vines. Given a new lease of life after 4 years of serious pruning, Elaine and Vanessa are proud of their 3000 vines which are now producing fine quality grapes. To the joy of them and their Winemaker, the 5 varieties are shining through their wine...particularly the Madeleine Angevine and the English sparkling, “Sundancer”.
In 2016 we were delighted to win gold at the UKVA Competition for our 2015 Madeleine Angevine.
The Vineyard is co-owned and worked by Elaine and Vanessa who welcome visitors to their Vineyard, either by arrangement or spontaneously, to share both viticulture and oenology anecdotes - buoyant on the results now emanating from their hard work and perseverance.
The Vineyard nestles in an idyllic part of Suffolk, not far from the coast at Southwold in the Waveney Valley. Suffolk is renowned for its local eclectic Food and Drink offering, to which Valley Farm Vineyards' wines make a contribution.
The Vineyards specialise in producing quality grapes for still white and rosé, sparkling white, and sparkling blush. The Madeleine Angevine is the grape in the still wine whilst the Auxerrois, Pinot Gris, Pinot Meunier and Pinot Noir are blended into the sparkling wine. An extra squeeze from the latter gives the blush finish to some vintages.
